Full Professor in wood biotechnology at KTH Department of Chemistry, Zhou have been involved as WP leaders and PIs in > 5 past and ongoing EU and Era-Net projects. 93 refereed papers, 16 invited international conference presentations, (h-index = 44).

Main expertise: development of bio-based composite materials with multi-functionalities and well-defined structures derived from wood, wood components and other renewable raw materials, such as marine biomass.
